Dr. Neda Bauman’s doctoral dissertation

On June 19, 2025, our collaborator Dr. Neda Bauman successfully defended her doctoral dissertation at #MFUB entitled “Establishment of Experimental Models of Chronic and Reactivated Toxoplasmosis and Structural Characterization of Toxoplasma gondii Cysts Using Computational Image Analysis.”
We are especially proud that the results achieved within the framework of the #ToxoReTREAT project became an integral part of this dissertation, which was co-supervised by Dr. Jelena Srbljanović, WP2 coordinator, while the committee included Dr. Tijana Štajner, PI, and Dr. Anđelija Ilić, WP4 coordinator of our project.

The successful execution of the experiments included in this dissertation once again confirms the importance of research projects in the education and development of young scientists.
